Writing is the ‘side hustle’ that hasn’t paid off yet, but keeps the mind occupied. The bills still need to be paid. Here’s an insight into my professional life.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be one of those irritating people who say that, in over thirty years of working, I’ve been doing something I love. That doesn’t mean it’s not felt like work, but it does mean that I’ve been able to do amazing things and keep smiling.

My work focuses on helping organisations articulate complex stories clearly, combining creative leadership with strategic thinking to shape work that performs across platforms and audiences. I build and lead teams, develop content and campaign strategy, and deliver creative work that connects ideas, people and outcomes.

My experience spans broadcast, marketing, commissioning and governance, with a focus on quality, clarity and impact. A defining thread through my work is using creativity in the service of strategy, shaping complex ideas into clear stories that align creative ambition with real-world outcomes.
